Hello Dear Shopper,
As we introduce our new Spring and Summer scents a little background seems to be in order. Deep in the January snow our mailboxes were frequented with incoming envelopes left by the shivering postman. Fragrant vials were delivered and we spent weeks testing, mixing, and testing again. Flowery concoctions blended with fruits sweet and tart. Notes of moss, earth, and herbs, muted but pungent, swirled in our pouring pots. We settled on 3 blends, a unanimous decision by the pair of us.
So we bring to you Fresh Pomander - a delicate mix of apricot and herb, Chillingham - a crisp breath of Highland heather filled air, and Dottie - white and purple lilacs, a Mothers Day favorite.
We debuted these scents, along with our year round line at the Hobnob Market Hoopla Show. An expansive collection of Vintage and Handmade Artisans and collectors met for a chilly March weekend in Springfield, Illinois. The atmosphere was energized by the crowd of shoppers pouring over a vast assortment of wares. One of the particular perks here was a quick friendship forged with our booth neighbor, Anna, of Pipapo laser jewelry. Her work is joyful!
